So who knew you could make great pizza in a Slowcooker? Turns out you can!!! This week's recipe was really simple to create using ready-made pizza dough and sauce to keep it budget friendly however if you do have a favourite sauce recipe you already love then use this instead!!
Suggested serving suggestion is 6-8
Ingredients;
310g Pizza Dough
1/3 cup pizza sauce
100g Pepperoni slices
1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, grated
Method;
To start lightly spray the slow cooker with oil and roll out your pizza dough so it is roughly the size of your slow cooker.
Add the dough into the slow cooker and form a crust around the edges, you can stuff your crust if you like your pizza extra cheesy.
Even spread the dough with the pizza sauce, then top the dough with pepperoni and cheese, you can sprinkle over some pizza herbs at this stage if you like.
Cook on low for 2 hours or until the dough is cooked all the way through, Serve when piping hot.
The great thing about this recipe is you can change the topping and sauce so you can create any kind of pizza you like.
If you do recreate this recipe I would love to know, feel free to email me jade@thepeoplespantryep.co.uk with photos, or if there is anything you would like to try let me know.
We are now taking bookings for the next round of slow cooker classes if you are interested send an email and we can reserve a space for you.
